these may or may not be Peridot they are the females with the male in the previous photo. Hue females are striated with clearly defined neck scales and the spire club shaped crest of this female in the fore. However,
the Hue female is not overally dark and has markings in the upper tail coverts and retrices. The black river morphotype and also the Tonkin morphotype have very dark females with out markings and high gloss. These peahens do not have the brilliant orange on the face- so I am not certain what these beautiful females are derived from.
