Located in Present Day Lebanon, Mittani
was a close strategic Ally of Egypt during the 18th Dynasty until Nefertiti and Akhenaten's reign when desperate requests for support were ignored. Mittani was consumed by the Hittites of Akkadia ( present day Western Turkey). Amenhotep the Great's mother Mutemwiya was Mittanian as were Princess Tadukhepha " Kaya" and Princess Gilukhepha.
